The UNBAR

The UNBAR is a structured adult outpatient Chemical Dependency treatment program helps individuals increase their understanding and mastery of their chemical dependency and/or co-occurring mental health disorder.

The UNBAR helps clients identify problems related to their use of alcohol and other drugs, understand that their alcohol/drug use caused those problems, recognize that those problems will continue to occur if alcohol/drug use continues, recognize failed attempts at controlling use, seek help and support in recovery and agree to enter an appropriate primary treatment.

Bridgeway is a nonprofit organization that provides mental health and recovery services to thousands of severely mentally ill, low income Cuyahoga County residents each year. Founded in 1973 to support those being released from closing state institutions, Bridgeway is also one of Northeast Ohio’s oldest providers of community mental health services.
