One-2-One Friendship Volunteers
Project One-2-One Friendship Volunteers are required to meet with their assigned friend for a minimum of four (4) hours per month for one year. The program boasts of several mentors who have maintained their friendships for four, eight, and even fifteen years.
Project One-2-One views these relationships as traditional friendships with plenty of give and take on both sides. Bridgeway helps make volunteer and friend outings easy by providing a monthly calendar of low or no-cost activities in the community, by providing movie passes, restaurant gift certificates and sporting event tickets when possible and by hosting One-2-One events such as bowling or picnics.
