About Our CEO, Dave Lundeen
Dave has served as an administrator and direct service provider in Cleveland’s child welfare industry for over 35 years. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to developing programs and institutions that bring healing to children and families and has achieved this through progressive, flexible, and professional ingenuity.
Prior to assuming his new role at the Community Care Network, Dave served as CEO to the Cleveland Christian Home for 12 years, where he advanced the vision as well as facilitated a merger with Cleveland Crossroads for Youth, the successful separation of CCH from the National Benevolent Association, and the merger of administrative services between Bridgeway and the Cleveland Christian Home. Over the years, Dave has served as a board member to the Ohio Association of Child Caring Agencies, and board member and past president to the Westside Community Mental Health Center.
Dave’s Master’s degree in Business Administration and Social Work further augment his skills at management systems change and the internal dynamics associated with organizational growth.
About Our COO, Deborah Barris
Deborah Barris is Chief Operating Officer of Bridgeway, Inc., the leader in the treatment of consumers with severe and persistent mental health problems. Ms. Barris works in conjunction with Dave Lundeen, Chief Executive Officer, the Bridgeway Board of Trustees and the Cuyahoga County Community Mental Health Board to ensure that consumers of Cuyahoga County receive the very best evidence-based treatment available.
Deborah previously served as Vice President for Employment Services with Spectrum of Supportive Services and was the Director of The Employment Alliance, a collaborative venture between two mental health agencies specializing in assisting mental health consumers to obtain competitive employment within the community.
Ms. Barris has expertise in the funding, planning and implementation of rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities. She has a history of working collaboratively with other provider agencies and funding sources.
Deborah received her Master of Arts degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Cincinnati in 1974, and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Supervising Counselor.
Deborah has provided clinical counseling and supervision with both the public and private sectors for over 30 years. Deborah has a long-standing commitment to the principles of Recovery and working as partners with consumers.
