About Our COO, Larry D. Kappler, MPA, LICDC
Prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer, Larry had served as the Director of Quality Improvement and Compliance for Community Care Network (serving both Bridgeway and Cleveland Christian Home). Responsibilities included administrative oversight, coordination, planning and directing of all quality improvement and compliance and performance improvement-related policies, programs, services and activities; development, implementation, administration, coordination and integration of systematic service evaluation/outcomes and research programs and projects for contracted agencies. Responsibilities also included control, coordination, implementation and monitoring of licensure, certification and accreditations for assigned agencies. Larry, in his role as the COO, brings these skills and a broad range of expertise in program management to the nonprofit sector.
Over the past 25 years, Larry has honed extensive administrative skills in working with residential and outpatient treatment programs for behavioral health adults and adolescents. These, combined with a Master of Public Administration/Health Care Administration and LICDC, has enabled Larry to emerge as a successful, resourceful and competent administrator.
Added experience in dual-diagnosis, clinical records management, treatment support software, compliance and certification, risk management and evaluation further augments Larry’s ability to lead Bridgeway and Cleveland Christian Home to overcome any challenges they may face. As an expert in the recovery and behavioral health field, Larry seeks to provide resources that support consumers in their road to wholeness. These same qualities continue to inform and compliment his management style.
